Great post! Thought last nights game was closer to what the Capitals want. Third line has been playing very well and have been rewarded for their good play. Capitals were better disciplined this game and hopefully moving forward fewer PKs. Tom Wilson is a stud and his play has shown that he is not just a big body throwing his weight around. Overall great play for the Capitals and I am looking forward to continued success on Saturday. GO CAPS!

D pairings still need some work, but I like the lines they ran last night. Wish Sprong could get a jersey somehow.

You guys know I'm all about the Sprong-train... I would scratch Hags in a second for him, but I doubt GMBM wants to acknowledge he screwed up with that 2.75AAV. I find most GM's would rather protect their pride and play underperforming and overpaid guys than the ones making >1m even if they're easily outshining the overpaid players.

Hagelin has speed. And also two stone hands. And a stone head.
He rarely overcomes these obstacles with his speed.
Ergo, his speed rarely makes an positive impact.

Guy is frustrating; almost seems like he just doesn't care - wouldn't mind him being shipped out.
